All of products are reproductions of classic examples and are made in 100% cast iron.

The beauty of a Cast Iron Fireback is that they not only look good they also help radiate and subsequently retain the heat from the fire.  Our range are suited for open fires and are to be positioned directly behind the fire.  Most purchasers will use then in conjuction with either firedogs or with firebaskets.

They are french in origin but cound be found in homes all around the world.  Mostly in older properties and country houses but more recenlty ranges of contemporary firebacks have provided the ability to uses them in more modern settings.

You can't beat the look and warmth of a cast iron fireback. An open fire is lost without one.
